St. E’s plans unveiled
Plans for the new public part of the St. Elizabeth’s campus include a walkable pavilion that can host events like farmers markets and art festivals. The area will be complete by next summer but could be scaled back if it runs over budget. (Examiner)
Plans for Walter Reed
Plans are taking shape for a redeveloped Walter Reed site with embassies, housing for the homeless, and retail all in the mix. A security fence that lines the perimeter will also come down. (Post)

The DC Taxicab Commission will show off 4 potential designs for cabs November 1. Yellow will not be an option, because New York’s are yellow and DC has a “Yellow Cab” company. (Examiner)
